Protocol and Techniques for Healing Emotions with oils

1. Guided Emotions Exercises

I used the app Insight Timer and I searched for Anger (release) exercises.

You can search most emotions and find tracks with exercises or guided release techniques. Some of them are woo-woo, but there should be ones that aren’t quite as woo. Just choose one that you’re comfortable with and seems to fit your need.

You can play these tracks and follow along the guided exercises. You don’t necessarily need oils for these, but I found using oils, especially ones for specific emotions, really helped deepen the healing.

2. Aroma Reset/Freedom Technique

There is a book on the entire freedom technique (and probably videos out there), but I found the reset steps as a good way to work through the anger while stepping it out.

For instance, I would intentionally sit down to work on a particular emotion or issue, and I would go through the steps, naming each person or situation individually, and go through the steps again and again as many times as necessary for that one issue.

For this, I used Stress Away, Valor and Frankincense on a regular basis OR an oil for an emotion specific to something I was feeling or lacking, such as … Acceptance, Abundance, Inner Child (for when I was dealing with a trigger from the past), Forgiveness, Grounding, Release, Trauma Life, Hope, etc.
